    The FPHMR27A3D outdoor tri-zone condenser features Friedrich's Precision Inverter Technology, offering a variable speed compressor to keep up with your comfort control needs while still being energy efficient. A standard air conditioner turn off when the set temperature is achieved. An inverter system uses variable capacity to reach and maintain the set comfort level in your space.

    As we move toward more efficient refrigerants, Friedrich Pro-X multi-zone compressors now use of R454B refrigerant. R454B features a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 467 - the most environmentally friendly refrigerant available. The larger the GWP, the more that specific gas warms the Earth. Below is a comparison chart of GWPs now being used by manufacturers versus R410A which is being phased out.
