Preferred Protection Plan
This plan offers two additional years after the manufacturer warranty expiration and commences when the original warranty is no longer effective. As for the terms of protection, this plan offers the same conditions as the original manufacturer warranty. It covers the complete repair cost of all parts and labor for any mechanical or electrical malfunction. In case in-home repair is not included in your manufacturer warranty, any authorized service in your area will be covered.

Are my appliances covered by my homeowners insurance?
In specific situations like fire, theft or flood damage homeowners insurance typically covers appliances.
How long after buying a product can an extended service plan be purchased?
- One-year parts-and-labor manufacturer’s original warranty – up to 9 months from the purchase date
- 90-day labor warranty – within 30 days from the purchase
- Exception – All accidental policies, commercial add-on policies, and export policies covering the manufacturer’s warranty outside the U.S. at the time of sale.
Can I still purchase a service plan from you if my appliance is bought at another store?
Yes, even if your appliance is not purchased at Town Appliance, we can still provide you with a service plan for that appliance.
Am I still covered if I buy a service plan and then move to another part of the country or outside of the U.S.?
Your service plan follows your product. It’s still affective in other countries but it no longer has “on-site” or “in-home” provisions. International warranty-holders are reimbursed for claims because international servicers are not paid directly. The service number must be called or you should go online to obtain a service order number. Before the service can be performed the prior approval of all quotes is needed.
Can I transfer my service plan to another person along with the appliance?
Yes, you can. Within 10 days of the product’s transfer you can also transfer any remaining coverage to another person at a nominal charge of $25.
How to register for New Leaf?
When an Extended Protection Plan is purchased, Town Appliance will automatically register you for your New Leaf ServicePro.
Who will be servicing my appliance?
New Leaf has a network of factory-authorized service centers nationwide in the U.S.
New Leaf will determine the best servicers to assist you as long as you provide all the necessary information like brand, category and your zip code.
What do I do when my appliance needs service?
Simply visit www.newleafservicepro.com or call New Leaf’s call center at 855.879.6395 24 hours a day.
Are commercially-used appliances covered by service plans, in case of use in offices, sports bars and similar?
In this case, you will need a commercial service plan. A standard service plan only covers appliances used in a single-family residence.
How can I verify that I’ve bought an extended service plan?
Your service plan is being verified with two things:
1. You need an invoice or receipt.
2. New Leaf Pro package, which includes an activation code.
Both of these will be provided by Town Appliance. When the warranty is activated online, New Leaf will send you an email verification.
How can I acquire a replacement under the New Leaf Service Pro replacement program?
During the replacement period (the year following the expiration of the shortest portion of the manufacturer’s limited warranty), you will need to call the New Leaf toll-free number to receive a repair order number. You should then contact Town Appliance with the number and the defective appliance details in order to redeem it for an appliance of equal features and functionality up to the original purchase price. You will then be responsible for returning the defective product to New Leaf. Shipping charges may apply.
Will the new appliance be covered for the remainder of the service plan if the appliance is replaced?
In this case, the contract is fulfilled upon the appliance replacement. After that you have the option of purchasing a new plan on your new appliance.
How can I determine if my service plan is onsite or carry-in?
All major appliance warranties are in-home.
