And Then There Was Town
Back in 1976, two friends - college students teamed up and started selling radios and stereos in Lakewood, NJ. All of the inventory was stored in their small apartment between the couch and the window in their living room. These guys created their first advertisement on a small card placed on the school bulletin board with a simple sentence: “We sell radios and stereos“ – simple and to the point. This careful and considerate approach is what kept Town going and growing. Even though back at that time, selling appliances was just a side business, it was important to keep it with absolute customer care.
That is exactly what Town Appliance is today, almost 50 years later, as the biggest and most reliable appliance retailer in the tri-state area. Town Appliance is a company with 3 showrooms, offering premium-quality appliances from major brands and a customer service that creates a huge client base treated like family, and providing the ultimate “mom and pop“ experience. As one of the biggest retailers in the tri-state area, and authorized dealers of every major brand in the industry for home and patio, we provide customers with appliances from GE and Whirlpool to Bosch and Fulgor Milano, through the high-ends such as Wolf, and Sub-Zero. Also, we’ve successfully managed to meet two main priorities: customer satisfaction and environmental protection. Most importantly we carry appliances that are in accordance with the regulations of all states in which these brands are present.
